FDA Approves Acuvue Oasys Contact Lens for Extended Wear

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced contact lens wearers who use Acuvue OASYS silicone hydrogel contact lenses can now safely extend use from daily wear only to wear of up to seven days.

According to Vistakon Vice President of Public Affairs Pat Cummings "Contact lens wearers can now occasionally nap or sleep in Acuvue Oasys and still get the same excellent health and comfort benefits they receive when it's worn as a daily lens."
